Screenwriting, Write Like

Hey everyone!

We’re back with a brand new free lesson for “Rogue One: a Star Wars Story”! Today’s topic is that ever-so-tricky part of writing movies: exposition. How can you deliver it without smacking viewers over the head with it? How can you tell the audience important information without boring them to death? Well, “Rogue One” has a solution. Watch the video to find out!

It’s a simple, but very clever technique I hope you keep in mind when writing your own screenplays. Exposition can be one of the hardest things to balance when telling a story, so the more tools you have at your disposal, the better!

Also – as of now, the full Write Like Rogue One” course is slated to come out in February 2018! More details will be released next week so stay tuned on that.

Remember – never stop writing!
